profit organization that provides a range of programs and services to the east Toronto

Danforth East Community Association (DECA) -
This association brings neighbours together and fosters a strong sense of community.
They focus on greening and beautifying our streets, improving the commercial strip Danforth
Avenue, taking action to reduce crime and planning community events.
Children’s Book Bank -
At the Children’s Book Bank, every child receives a free book at each and every visit! You can
go as often as you like! How wonderful is that?!
350 Berkley St, as Gerrard St. E, West of Parliament
Hours: Tues, Wed, Thurs 10 am – 6 pm; Sat 10 am – 2 pm
The Children’s Book Bank also accepts donations of new as well as previously loved books
(good condition only).
Muralunique - Prepasted murals are easy to hang in less than 1 hour, dry removable in a
few minutes and reusable.
